# How to split orders by weight
To split orders by weight, navigate to the "Create split group" page
In the "Additional split options" section choose "Max lbs per split"
Choose the max number of lbs you would like in any order, on the right hand side. It is not a problem if you are using other weight measurements (such as kg, g) we transform those into lbs.
