# Store credit explained

Transaction Gateway Name

This setting allows you to customize the gateway name that appears on split order transactions.

Default: Store Credit

Examples of custom names:

* Internal Transfer
* Split Order Payment
* Allocated Funds

The gateway name appears in:

* Shopify order transaction history
* Payment reports
* Accounting exports\
